Historic Railroad Hotel
Originally built as a boarding house in 1889, the property has been many things over the years. It thrived when the town did, but eventually fell into decline. The building was renovated during a downtown revitalization period and opened as the Iron Horse Hotel in 2002. We've welcomed visitors to Blackwater ever since!

Hi! I'm Nichole Burnett and I grew up here in Blackwater. I have been running the Iron Horse since 2020. Sharing our little town with visitors is very rewarding! I take hospitality seriously and want my guests to have a great time. Hope to see you soon!
